The inspiration and vision for this conference consisted of a Friday night, YPAA speaker/meeting and strong collaboration of AA/Al-Anon/Alateen Panels, workshops, etc.  The vision for the event was to “think outside the box” for presentations and activities throughout the weekend.  It is hoped by the founders that this conference is affordable and able to be attended by all.  The founders envisioned multiple AA and Al-Anon groups coming together to create a weekend of recovery.  There will be a disbandment meeting of the “host committee” and the “founders” to discuss the on-going nature of the jamboree.  The seed money that has been given by the founders shall be returned if possible at the end of the jamboree.

The founders have taken actions on a few items, the event space – Best Western Plus Conference Center for the 2019 conference. We’ve gone virtual for 2020.  A checking account has been opened and a website,

The vision is that this 3-day event will become a yearly tradition and thank you for being the host committee to launch year 1!
